Registration is open for Winter Futsal 2026-27. JAFA fields two competitive teams, 2013B Boys (U14) and 2014B Boys (U13), training weekly and playing Futsal East league matches on Friday nights at St. Croix Valley Rec Center in Stillwater, October to early February. Send us your player’s info and Coach Christian will email you the registration form.

Why futsal
This is not a winter substitute
Futsal is the technical incubator the entire JAFA method is built on. It produces conditions the outdoor game cannot produce at this age: constant contact with the ball, permanent pressure, and nowhere to hide. Every pillar we train gets tested here, under a scoreboard, on Friday nights.
Coaching in this country often pushes players away from the sole of the foot. We treat sole control as an essential skill, not a trick. It lets your player stop the ball instantly, freeze a defender, keep the head up to scan, and exit in any direction. A player who can only receive across the body has one exit. Ours have several.

The Kit
The 2026-27 futsal kit
Custom Flite kits in JAFA gold and black, with the Aztec pattern woven through the fabric and your player’s name and number on the back. Home, away, and goalkeeper sets are included in the $650 registration.
Kits are ordered once rosters are confirmed. Jersey, shorts, and sock sizes are collected on the registration form.
